On February 20, the China National Petroleum Corporation announced that the country's first ultra-deep scientific exploration well exceeding 10,000 meters---the Shenditake 1 well---was successfully drilled to a depth of 10,910 meters underground in the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang. The successful drilling of this well has set five major engineering records: "deepest" liner cementing globally, "deepest" wireline imaging logging globally, "fastest" onshore drilling breakthrough of 10,000 meters globally, "deepest" vertical well drilling in Asia, and "deepest" onshore coring in Asia. This marks significant progress for China in deep earth scientific research and oil and gas exploration fields.
During this drilling project, Hubei Jianghan Petroleum Instrument And Meter Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shareate Group, was honored to be invited to participate. Working closely with China National Petroleum Corporation and other partners, they jointly overcame a series of technical challenges and provided critical technical support. The JZG85 type Dead Line Anchor and instruments independently developed by Hubei Jianghan Petroleum Instrument And Meter Co., Ltd. were successfully integrated into the world's first 12,000-meter ultra-deep well automated drilling rig, ensuring the smooth progress of the drilling work. This provided solid technical support and crucial equipment assurance for the drilling of the Shenditake 1 well, highlighting Shareate Group's market position in the field of petroleum instruments and meters.
The drilling of the Shenditake 1 well is a landmark project for China National Petroleum Corporation in building national strategic scientific and technological strength and becoming a global innovation hub for energy and chemical industries. By achieving the "Chinese depth" in the "Sea of Death," it has established China's leading international position in the field of ultra-deep engineering technology at 10,000 meters.
