Cone Bit

According to the number of cones, roller cone bits can be divided into single cone bits, tricone bits and assembled multicone bits.

Due to the simple structure, large bearing space, and easily miniaturized size, the single roller cone bit is more suitable for formations with higher strength and plasticity than the tricone bit, and it is also suitable for hard interlayers and other complex formations that are difficult for PDC bits to deal with. It can increase the ROP of the sidetracking machine, shorten the drilling cycle, and thus reduce the dilling cost. It can be applied to increased inclination, stable inclination and small hole dilling. We recently developed a single roller cone bit which is the most commonly used YC series . Diamond composite inserts at top of the cone enhance the wear resistance and improve the service life of the bit. New hydraulic structure improves the cleaning ability on the rollers and optimizes the flow at the bottom of the well. The gauge protection uses large diameter ball inserts, so that the bit has good gauge function and reverse reaming function. This series of bits is suitable for small hole diling operations such as window sidetracking and deepening in old wells.

The roller and bit body have double gauge protection. The body is equipped with active cutting gauge inserts and passive anti-wear gauge inserts. The drill bit has good gauge function and reverse reaming function.

The hydraulic system adopts the structure of main and auxiliary water holes, and uses jet and diffusion nozzles, to optimize the nozzle combination.

The palm bearing is surfacing with hard metal layer, and the inner hole of the cone is welded with anti-friction carbide, which improves the bearing capacity.

The rollers are designed with staggered inserts.The shape of the cone, the number of rows, the number of inserts and the exposed height are all optimized.

The small and large bit bearings use advanced high-saturation nitrile rubber rings, optimized seal compression and special gauge structure design to ensure high reliability.

Steel ball is used to lock the cone, which can adapt to high speed rotation.
