PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

7 7/8" SHV537GKT

  • Product profile
  1. High-strength and high-wear-resistance carbide insert are used to improve the strength and wear-resistance of the insert.
  2. The new journal bearing structure is adopted, which greatly prolongs the working life of the bearing, and has the ability to withstand moderate drilling pressure and adapt to high speed.
  3. The performance of the new fluorinated composite sealing ring is improved, and it is more suitable for the working environment and use parameters of the roller cone bit.
  4. The new sealing structure matches the bearing, thus greatly improving the service life of the drill bit.
  5. T feature, a protection carbide inserts row is added between the outer rows and cone back rows  for the purpose of cone protection and well wall dressing.
  6. K feature, the inner row adopts wide-topped spoon insert, which increases the cutting width of the insert and improves the drilling efficiency.
  • Cutting rows layout

4-4-3

  • Applicable formation

Designed for water well and HDD drilling, low compressive strength, medium soft formation, such as shale, soft limestone, interlayer dolomite, coal seam, etc.

Formation hardness:  f6-f10

  • Lug protection

The shirttail is protected by cemented carbide insert, the lug back is protected by welded wear-resisting carbide inserts.
